I'm New

There’s something for every member of the family at Woodridge. From preschool to senior adults, you’ll find small groups, special events, and more designed just for you. At Woodridge, you can get involved in music, community outreach, missions and evangelism, and more. Plus, you’ll find special events throughout the year including our Easter Egg Hunt, Fall Festival, Men’s and Women’s Ministry events, Vacation Bible School for children, Christmas presentations, and more designed to help you grow spiritually, fellowship with friends, and reach out to others.

  • What will my children do while I’m in service?

Children are important to Woodridge! While you attend the Worship Service and Adult Bible Study Groups, the kids, based on their ages, will be in special programs designed just for them with caring teachers who want to show them Jesus’ love. Preschoolers have a life group just for their age during the first hour and then they will have an extended session class during the worship hour. Kindergarten through fifth graders will be in Bible Study for the first hour. During the worship hour, they will join you in the main worship service. Approximately halfway through the worship service, K-2nd graders will be invited to join our Children’s Minister for Children’s Church in our children’s building. Following the music portion of the worship time, a message will appear on the screen for K-2nd grade to meet in the middle foyer in the back of the Worship Center where they will be escorted to Children’s Church. First time parents please bring your children to the foyer for check-in. You will pick them up from the children’s building when the service is over.

  • Where’s the entrance?

Woodridge has several Worship Center entrances; however, if you will enter the campus using the driveway closest to Foosackly’s, you will see a Welcome Center directly ahead of you on the North side of the church with welcome flags in the parking lot designating our visitor parking. Enter through those Welcome Center doors and someone will be there to greet you. Also, you may enter through the main door to the Worship Center at the front of the church with the large columns. Someone will also be there to greet you and direct you.

  • What do you believe?

You can learn more about what we believe as a church here.

  • How long is the service?

Our morning worship services begin at 10:30am and last approximately one hour and fifteen minutes. If you would like to attend our Bible Study groups, they begin at 9:00am and last approximately one hour.

  • What time do I need to arrive?

We recommend that you arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the beginning of an event.

  • I’m in a wheelchair. Where do I go?

Designated wheelchair access and seating is available only on the main floor. Our ushers will be happy to help you locate seating for yourself and anyone who is accompanying you.

  • Where should I sit?

You can sit wherever you feel comfortable in our Worship Center, from the front row on the main floor to the back row of the balcony. If you have difficulty locating a seat, our ushers are available to assist you.

  • Which version of the Bible do you use?

Our Pastor preaches from the English Standard Version (ESV). We accept all versions of the Bible that hold true to God’s Word. There are copies of the Bible in our pew racks.

  • What style of music is used in worship?

Woodridge’s music is a multi-generational and multi-cultural expanded worship personality. We have a choir and orchestra, praise team, and band-driven worship, all of which you can experience at our 10:30am service.

  • How do I get involved in a small group?

Adult Bible Study Groups meet at 9:00am on Sundays. For help finding the class that fits you just right, visit our Welcome Center and one of our greeters will explain our groups and show you where to go.

  • Where should I park?

Enter the driveway closest to Foosackly’s and look straight ahead for the Welcome flags designating our visitor parking. You can enter the building through the Welcome Center or the main entrance at the front behind the large, white columns.

  • What should I wear?

You are welcome at Woodridge just as you are. We have members in coat and tie, members in jeans and t-shirt, and everywhere in between. We meet to worship the Lord and fellowship with other believers. We believe that it’s the attitude of your heart that matters to God, rather than your physical appearance.

  • How can I serve others?

At Woodridge, you’ll find a service opportunity that fits your unique talents and abilities. You can serve the community by working on a team that does community outreach; you can get involved in the choir or orchestra; you can welcome guests who come to our campus; you can serve on an evangelism team or missions project; and so much more.

  • I still have questions.
